welcome to the ramadan recharge community!

about ramadan recharge

The intention behind Ramadan Recharge is to revive the Sunnah of a mindful, active everyday and to include some movement in our everyday lives; during Ramadan and throughout the year.

The movement - induced focus & energy can be poured into our ibadah (worship) and leave us feeling more connected in our prayers and fasting. And in doing so, we will emerge feeling fully recharged at the end of Ramadan, while living a more mindful and sunnah - aligned lifestyle throughout the rest of the year, Insha’Allah (God willing).

During the blessed month of Ramadan, fasting and spending more time in worship, prayer & contemplation nourishes our souls while the light and healing of the Quran revives our hearts and calms our minds.

During this month of reflection, introspection and healing, we reconnect with our loving Rabb (Lord) by living mindfully and trying our best to restore balance in our lives.

Adding movement to our fasting day can support this balance by helping with better sleep, improved digestion, less anxiety and more energy. A simple walk or a few stretches after salah or even daily tasks of cleaning, gardening and walking to the mosque can all support us.

Make the most of our resources and share the khayr (goodness) by passing it on to loved ones. Have a most blessed, mindful & productive Ramadan!”
