welcome to the ramadan recharge community!

about ramadan recharge

The intention behind Ramadan Recharge is to revive the Sunnah of mindful movement and an active everyday by including brief activities into our everyday lives.

The resulting movement - induced focus & energy can then be poured into our ibadah (worship), daily life, work and study and leave us feeling more connected in our prayers and fasting.

In doing so, we will emerge feeling fully recharged at the end of Ramadan, while living a more mindful and sunnah - aligned lifestyle throughout the rest of the year, Insha’Allah (God willing).

LOCAL ACTIVITIES
Find local opportunities to be active in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire

During the blessed month of Ramadan, fasting and spending more time in worship, prayer & contemplation nourishes our souls while the light and healing of the Quran revives our hearts and calms our minds. Through this reflection, introspection and healing, we reconnect with our loving Rabb (Lord) by living mindfully and trying our best to restore balance to our lives.

Adding small nuggets of movement to our fasting day can support this balance by improving sleep, digestion, energy and mood. Include a 10 minute dhikr walk in the fresh air, a few stretches before or after salah (ritual prayers) or help out with daily tasks of cleaning and gardening to enhance your Ramadan.

Make the most of our resources and share the khayr (goodness) by passing it on to loved ones. Have a most blessed, mindful & productive Ramadan!
